HEY, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE We love you and we want you to be safe at Skida. At the bottom you find all the boring Terms and Conditions, but first:
Backcountry skiing can be risky. You need to think about the dangers of being in a certain place with a certain condition. Don’t ski like a daredevil, or in places or ways that could hurt you, others or the environment. Where you ski is your call and you do it at your own risk.
Always check the weather and avalanche forecast. Always have the right gear for the terrain and the weather, tell someone where you are going and have a backup plan. The outdoors can change quickly and you need to check the conditions on the slope or route.
When you are in a resort, park or outdoor area, follow the rules and respect the locals.
The Skida service is for fun. Using the Skida app, the Skida website (skida.app), or any other products or services is at your own risk. The Skida service is not a safety tool and you should not depend on it for navigation.
Safety is your choice and your duty. We recommend being smart, staying aware and loving the mountain and the people. And remember; eat yellow snow, it might be beer. 😉
